Olympic Opening Ceremony at T.G. Aviation
T.G. Aviation and Thanet Flying Club wanted a special event
for their members to celebrate the opening of the Olympics.

Your Toastmasters and Event Coordinators put on a splendid
evening for everyone. With plenty to eat
and drink in a venue dressed in red, white and blue the atmosphere began to
build as Danny Boyle’s opening ceremony approached.
With the Red Arrows leaving for their 2012 fly past and then
returning to join the party everything was in place for a great night.

We even had our own medal presentation as the winners of the
team quiz tasted success by wearing gold around their necks. Team GB will get gold as well over the next
two weeks but we were first at TG Aviation!
